The BP oil spill has caused controversy world wide and understandably why. We understand that innocent fish and other marine life are affected aswell as birds and anything that drinks. You get the drift.
Cartoon characters can also be destroyed due to the BP crisis and this probably goes unnoticed.
Spongebob is one example.

I’m getting involved in Gaia10 this year. It’s a community project to raise awareness on climate change by using design. If you don’t know anything about it, basically you can download wallpapers, skins for Windows, OSX and Linux and even download music.

This is quite clever but a little confusing for me also. I understand the 352 part but is the last building supposed to be an “=”? Anyway, with that aside, it’s still quite cool.
This thing looks amazing. It’s got the matte frame, disc brakes, Shimano SLX gear system and the red highlights really set it off. Unsure of the price for one of these but if it’s anything like the $17,000 Ferarri road bike I saw at the 2010 Australian Grand Prix, it’s going to be quite pricey.
Nevertheless, it’s going to be a bit less than a BMW M series automobile.

Flickr has has come up with a clever way to show the changing colors of the year using a circle of color bands. The color streams widen and narrow as their distribution changes throughout the year. The samplings come from thousands of photographs of the Boston Commons archived on the Flickr site.
Very cool. Very CS5-ish!
